Thirty eight seconds...


thirty eight seconds... Basra, Iraq, September 2004. I said goodbye to a friend standing next to this vehicle. He walked away, and so did I. Thirty eight seconds later the souls of our comrades violently left this earth.

I will survive, it is what I do, even though sometimes I do not understand the continuous uncertainty that my journeys are accompanied by, no matter what, I will survive, that is my aim...
